We specialize in statement installations and architectural focal points that shape how a wedding is experienced. Because our work is deeply custom and design-led, we accept a limited number of projects each season allowing every installation the time, precision, and creative rigor it deserves.
Our services are intentionally structured to support different levels of design involvement, but every project receives the same level of care and intention. This work is for those who value originality over trends, and understand that truly impactful design requires space to be created properly.
Blurring the line between wedding draping and textile art, our fabric installations are designed by hand through layered textiles, sculptural draping, and dimensional composition. From ceremony backdrops and statement installations to immersive reception details, each piece is created to bring movement, softness, and atmosphere into the space.

Each wedding textile installation is composed by hand using fashion fabrics selected specifically for the individual design. Rather than relying on traditional event draping fabrics engineered for uniformity and ease of installation, we source textiles for their movement, weight, sheen, texture, and the way they interact with light.
Fabric becomes part of the architecture, draped, gathered, layered, and sculpted into custom wedding backdrops and textile installations created specifically for the space they inhabit.
As the textile artist behind Laconic Events, I create sculptural wedding textile installations for celebrations throughout New England and Florida.
Textile art, for me, is not something that is simply designed, it is something that is felt.
I am deeply connected to fabric and how it moves, how it holds weight, how it responds to its surroundings. It is not a rigid medium, and it cannot be forced into a fixed plan. Each installation evolves in real time, shaped by the space, the structure, and the atmosphere around it.
If there is wind, I work with it. If the architecture carries strong lines, I sculpt to accent them. If a space feels heavy, I use textile to soften and create balance.
It is a process of listening as much as it is creating.
Textiles allow me to communicate emotion in a way that feels instinctive and intuitive, transforming space not just visually, but experientially.
